Job Opportunity: Senior Full Stack Developer (JS / TS / Python) in Spain

Join Voodoo Park for an exciting role as a Senior Full Stack Developer. We are seeking talented developers to work on a new Fintech project, focusing on extending our cloud-based Portfolio Management solution through functional enhancements, codebase improvements, and new service development.

As part of our UK domain team supporting this solution, you will contribute to designing, developing, delivering, and supporting business solutions following the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop software components within quality standards.
2. Resolve issues, defects, and queries promptly during all development phases.
3. Follow configuration management processes for deploying code.
4. Adhere to development protocols, methods, and tools.
5. Conduct quality reviews of your own and peers' deliverables.
6. Provide sizing estimates for development tasks.
7. Report progress regularly and escalate issues as needed.

Key Relationships:

• Work closely with your engineering team to achieve project goals.
• Liaise with your team lead to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate across teams and departments to meet project objectives.
• Your team lead will review your progress and development plans regularly.

Core Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes:

• Experience managing projects through all development stages into production.
• Knowledge of object-oriented development environments.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Understanding of source control, release, task, and application lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of unit testing and test automation.
• Experience with Financial Services solutions (Markets, Wealth, Trading).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, React, Node.js, REST APIs, and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with MS SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit).
• Object-Oriented Design skills.

Desirable Knowledge / Experience:

• Terraform and build pipelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaboration with product teams.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
