Due to our continuous expansion and growth, Juniper Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller with deep accounting and financial knowledge, and previous experience in sell-side or buy-side transactions, to participate in acquisition efforts across Europe. Currently, Juniper Group provides software solutions to various public and private vertical markets, with a focus on travel, insurance, banking, healthcare, public sector, and oil & gas.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision, consolidation, and financial-administrative control of all companies within JUNIPER GROUP.
  • Monitoring, analysis, and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Review and analysis of reports from different business units within JUNIPER GROUP for consolidation.
  • Support and supervision during internal and external audits requested by the parent company.
  • Automation of processes and procedures to reduce reporting time and enhance analysis capabilities.
  • Assist in constructing quarterly budgets and monitoring variances between actual and estimates.
  • Analyze expenses and revenues to propose improvements for increasing revenues and reducing expenses.
  • Support and train personnel within Juniper Group entities, including newly acquired companies.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Native Spanish speaker and/or proficiency in financial language (required).
  • Knowledge of German (spoken and written) is preferred.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to learn specialized financial software.
  • Strong analytical skills with thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to propose improvements.
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards.
  • Ability to produce financial and control reports in English.
