A leading global IT services company seeks a technical support professional in Barcelona. The role involves on-site end-user support, meeting room checks, and hardware repairs. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience in ICT, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in English and Spanish.

Formación

  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical ICT environment.

Descripción del empleo

Job Responsibilities:
  1. On-Site End-User Support: Provide immediate, in-person assistance to employees, addressing IT requests and resolving issues efficiently.
  2. Meeting Room & Equipment Checks: Regularly inspect meeting rooms and critical equipment—including cable management, replacement, and testing—to ensure smooth operation during high-priority events.
  3. Laptop Hardware Repair & Warranty Handling: Diagnose and fix common laptop hardware issues, perform minor repairs, and manage warranty claims to minimize downtime.
  4. Ticket Management: Act as the first point of contact for IT support tickets, resolving straightforward issues and escalating more complex problems as needed.
  5. General Qualities: The candidate should be polite, possess sufficient English for effective communication, and be punctual.
Job Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical ICT environment, preferably in a manufacturing-based organization.
  • General End User technology knowledge.
  • Familiarity with End User Workspace platforms (discovery, asset management, client management).
  • Knowledge of End User Microsoft platforms (Active Directory, Office, SCCM).
  • Experience with ITSM Tool Set (Ticket Management Software) is preferred.
  • Soft skills: Planning and organizing, attention to detail, problem solving, analysis, flexibility, customer sensitivity, technical writing skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
