To expand our sales activities and technical support in Spain, we are looking for a:

Mechanical Support Engineer

Reporting to the Sales Office Supervisor and Brand Office Manager, the candidate should ideally be a Mechanical / Industrial Engineer with some experience in technical, administrative, supply chain, and sales support of products in the transmission field, such as bearings, gearboxes, motors, machine components, and linear motion systems. The candidate could also be involved in automation / special machine sales. Ideally, they should have worked directly for the manufacturer; however, experience in other engineering-based fields can also be relevant. They will receive continuous training and support from the Head Quarter’s Technical, Administrative, Supply Chain, and Sales Departments.

Areas of Responsibility

1. Prepare quotations for calculated systems and special parts in support of the external Sales Engineers.
2. Qualify special requests with the UK Technical Sales Team.
3. Receive and process orders, review terms, and manage shipping schedules.
4. Coordinate all relevant issues related to technical complaints.
5. Accompany engineers during customer visits, after-sales support, trade exhibitions, or other marketing events when needed.
6. Support the Branch Office with administrative duties as required.
7. Record and maintain customer information and data on the CRM system.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical education.
2. Some relevant experience in technical support or designing technical solutions.
3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
4. High computer literacy.
5. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
