Senior Site Reliability Engineer (GenAI Platform & Services) - WELCOME TO OLX

Our colleagues around the world help serve millions of people every month through our well-loved consumer brands including OLX, Otomoto, Property24. We are establishing a GenAI center at our Barcelona hub, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us build a platform that enables widespread adoption of GenAI and to validate and develop reusable GenAI services and functionalities. Be a part of the OLX SRE Organization supporting the development team to ensure scalability, high availability, deployment, and performance.

Responsibilities include :

1. Taking operational responsibility for the services we own, including participating in an on-call rotation, incident response, and postmortems.
2. Ensuring system reliability and performance.

Qualifications :

1. Proficiency in Python and one or more modern programming languages such as Java or Go.
2. Understanding of containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS).
3. Hands-on experience with AWS.
4. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible or Terraform.
5. Experience with CI / CD pipelines using Gitlab and / or Jenkins.
6. Strong skills in system and network debugging.
7. Knowledge of performance, reliability, observability, and incident management tools and methodologies.
8. Enthusiasm for embedding a DevOps mindset, automation, and feedback loops.
9. Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
10. Experience with AWS Kinesis, SQS, Lambda (especially in Python).
11. Experience with AWS Athena, EMR, Glue.
