Job Overview

Real World Data Analyst

IQVIA's Real World Data area is dedicated to maximizing insights and evidence from healthcare data, continuously seeking innovative processes and analytics to advance healthcare.

Essential Functions of the Role
  1. Build strong data analytics based on Healthcare Big Data (Longitudinal Patient Data).
  2. Apply statistical design and methodology to meet client needs using tools like SAS, Python, SQL, or R; conduct statistical analyses and assist in preparing final client deliverables.
  3. Understand pathology and patient management to connect data analysis with evidence generation.
  4. Collaborate within a team to prepare analysis plans and reports, and validate patient-level data analyses.
  5. Support the design and development of innovative processes and approaches.
  6. Engage in cross-functional projects, working closely with other areas to build comprehensive solutions and develop expertise in commercial and clinical strategies within the life sciences industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Computer Science, or related discipline, with experience in healthcare data analysis preferred.
  • Advanced scripting skills in SAS, Python, SQL, or R.
  • Experience handling Big Data.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, patient-level data, and pharmaceutical markets; pharmaceutical data experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrates consulting skills, creativity, critical thinking, project planning, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, innovative, and pragmatic problem-solving approach with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a client-focused, results-driven environment.
