We are currently seeking a Python Developer for one of our clients, working remotely from Europe.

Role Overview

Join the Risk Management Team to develop and maintain risk analytics tools, design and implement APIs supporting risk workflows, and optimize data pipelines for efficient risk reporting. Ensure secure, scalable risk-related applications and collaborate closely with risk analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based risk analytics tools and web applications (using Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
• Design and implement APIs to streamline risk management workflows.
• Optimize and automate data pipelines using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL / NoSQL databases for efficient processing and reporting.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and follow best software development practices.
• Collaborate with risk analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain code quality through version control, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills with experience in Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and version control.
• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management.
• Experience with market data, P&L, and risk metrics is a plus.
