Descripción del empleo

The Cloud & IT DevOps Lead is a key asset and enabler for AXA Partners' business transformation.

As the Cloud & IT DevOps Lead for AXA Partners Spain, you will define and drive the architecture within the local IT domain, aiming to create an agile, simple, reliable, and cost-effective Information System. Your goal will be to foster innovation, reduce technical debt, and align with the AXA Partners' stack strategy.

Dimensions of the role:

You will lead all architecture activities, including cloud architecture definition and technological decisions related to transformation and ecosystem adoption across the entire AXA Partners Spain IT landscape.

You will prioritize the customer in all your actions.

You will collaborate closely with the CIO and serve as a key partner for Operations, Networks, Sales, Marketing, and other business units.

You will report to the CIO of AXA Partners Spain at the local ExCom.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and align the local target architecture with the global architecture team and the Global CTO for AXA Partners. Manage DevOps setup, cloud architecture, and ensure technical excellence in application delivery. Oversee application landscape transformations such as M&H CMS or eCommerce.
  • Lead application teams (12 internal FTEs plus external consultants) to deliver IT landscape transformations that support business objectives.
  • Coordinate with central teams to align local and central delivery efforts within the IT landscape transformation initiatives.
  • Identify duplicate, reusable, and shareable services through portfolio initiatives and application rationalization plans.
  • Promote cost-effective and agile IT service delivery by establishing shared guidelines, standards, and principles.
  • Participate actively in IT and architecture governance, including strategic planning and architecture review boards.
  • Engage in initiatives within the global AXA ecosystem and architecture community.

Required experience and skills include:

  • Over 10 years of IT experience, with a strong background in Enterprise and Cloud Architecture.
  • Experience working with application teams.
  • Proven leadership in large, complex, multinational organizations.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, particularly in Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to inspire adoption of new technologies and evangelize technical and business teams.
  • Familiarity with AI systems, such as GPT APIs, RAGs, or Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Deep knowledge of IT best practices, architectures, and data technologies.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills with a systemic, big-picture approach.
  • Expertise in engineering systems design and analysis.
  • Good understanding of agile and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn continuously, and execute disciplined work.
  • Professional proficiency in English (mandatory).
