At ING, we are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Models Analyst.

Your role and work environment:

We seek a talented and enthusiastic Senior Credit Risk Models Analyst to join our Retail Credit Risk Team within the ING Risk Domain.

The team is responsible for overseeing risk in the Spanish Retail Lending portfolio throughout the entire credit lifecycle. Our working model is 100% flexible, operating in small subject-expert areas, with continuous interaction with international teams.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the development and maintenance of IRB & IFRS9 models.
2. Identify and mitigate risks through appropriate levels of capital and provisions.
3. Ensure sustainable growth of the Retail Lending portfolios.

What are we looking for?

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Statistics, Maths, or Econometrics.
2. Experience with retail lending portfolios, developing, monitoring, or validating regulatory credit risk models in banking or consultancy.
3. Excellent knowledge of statistics and/or mathematics, with programming skills in SAS and/or SQL.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of banking and the financial industry, especially retail lending.
5. Independent, creative, proactive, and focused on delivering pragmatic solutions.
6. Fluent in English and Spanish.
7. Eager to lead projects.
