Position Overview
We are seeking proactive, driven, and self-reliant Area Sales Managers to lead growth in underserved regions. This hands-on sales role involves managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to supporting demos and patient trials—and nurturing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities via outreach, fairs, networking, and industry events.
- Lead Qualification & Product Demonstration: Assess leads, organize demos, and support CPOs during product fittings.
- Customer Engagement & Trials: Build trust with CPOs and support patient trials by acquiring clinical and technical skills for prosthetic fittings.
- Negotiation & Pricing: Drive product adoption by negotiating pricing and terms to close sales with clinics.
- Relationship Nurturing: Maintain relationships with clients through visits, presentations, and workshops.
- Event Organization: Manage regional trade fairs and industry events to boost brand visibility.
- Order Management: Oversee sales processes, record orders in CRM/ERP, and collaborate with production and logistics teams.
- Insurance Support: Assist CPOs with patient reimbursement processes, documentation, and reporting.
- Marketing Collaboration: Support joint marketing campaigns and relay customer insights to internal teams.
Profile
- Sales Hunter & Relationship Builder: Skilled in prospecting and account management, target-driven, and capable of expanding market reach.
- Customer Success & Account Management: Committed to long-term relationships, customer satisfaction, and ongoing engagement, supporting CPOs in trials and product integration.
- Adaptable & Resourceful: Comfortable in a startup environment, managing responsibilities independently, and collaborating across teams.
- Technically Curious: Eager to learn clinical and technical aspects of prosthetic fitting to support CPOs confidently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in prosthetics, kinesiology, sports sciences, engineering, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in prosthetics or orthotics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in local languages and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Practical tech skills for seamless sales operations (Wi-Fi, hotspots, etc.).
- Proficiency in Google Suite, email, and CRM practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
- Valid driver’s license.

Interview Process
- 30-minute virtual interview with the Chief Sales Officer.
- 60-minute in-person interview with the Chief Sales Officer.
- 90-minute final interview with the Chief Sales Officer and CEO, including a sales presentation.
