A leading company in the food ingredients sector is seeking a Technical Sales Manager in Madrid. The role involves selling food ingredients to the food industry, managing client relationships, and conducting market analyses. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry, along with strong communication and negotiation skills. A passion for food product development and a valid driving license are essential.

Formación

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients.
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and English.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients .

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry.

  • Sales area : Madrid Area, central part of Spain.
  • The position will be office-based in Madrid, with 6 days of home office possible.
  • Main target : visiting clients.
  • Our client is an international ingredients distributor.
  • You have at least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients / Not FMCG products.

The job holder primarily oversees the expansion of business with existing customers, as well as the identification and exploration of new markets and customers in the food market in Spain.

Tasks

  • Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms (grains, flours, flakes) will be an asset.
  • Customer & supplier relationship management : Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Portfolio management : Identifying opportunities in the portfolio and supplementing missing product / solution offerings.
  • Market / Competition : Conduct in-depth market analyses to understand supplier & customer needs, assess competitive landscapes, and identify new opportunities. Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and / or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.
  • Negotiation with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Technology / Food Chemistry Must have .
  • Ability to solve technological problems and a passion for food product development.
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • High willingness to travel.
  • Very organized, reliable, and positive thinking.
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have .
  • You have a valid driving license Must have .
