Job Description Summary:

Reporting to the Local Area Manager, the Field Technician Service will carry out O&M works preventive and corrective on GE 1.5 units based in Albacete. They will supervise retrofits and upgrades on the sites. If required, they will supervise and coordinate external support and assist different company team members during site visits.

Job Description:

• Preventive tasks following O&M manuals.
• Troubleshooting tasks.
• Retrofits.
• Ensure a smooth operation of our turbines and use of our systems within condition monitoring and remote control.
• Maintain an efficient service vehicle and well-stocked warehouse by ordering materials, tools, and spare parts when needed.
• Work to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met.
• Follow up HSE rules and procedures.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• High-School Degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics...) desired. A Bachelor’s degree, or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability and willingness to travel (Local) as required.
• Min 2 years of experience in GE 1.5 units.
• Knowledge in GE converts and pitch salen.
• Background in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic areas.
• Ability to make decisions regarding the completion of tasks and job methods and follow through with results of outcomes.
• Ability to multitask on a consistent basis.
• Ability to demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional ethics and integrity.
• Knowledge of technical English (written / spoken) and familiarity with the Office Pack.
• Solid commitment to the concept of safety in general and safety in the work environment, ability to work at height.
• Spanish Language mandatory.
• GWO & Electrical HV trainings valid appreciated.
• Driving license.

Location: the role should be based close to the wind farm in Albacete.
