Reporting Line

Global Supply Chain Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement global sourcing initiatives, either under the leadership of a global division/business area Procurement Manager or independently if within a defined threshold. You will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures, manage procurement planning and tracking, and oversee cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts. The role operates in a #LI-Hybrid work model and contributes to the Process Automation division in Mexico. Key responsibilities include:

1. Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing to develop effective sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring supply base capacity and capability.
2. Minimizing risks related to quality and financial exposure by adhering to quality and commercial procedures.
3. Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, renewing price lists, and managing terms and conditions.
4. Identifying, investigating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability, in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the electrical sector and contract management.
• Knowledge of the E-house and transformer markets in NAM & LATAM.
• Expertise in supply chain management and negotiation strategies.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese skills are a plus.
