Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to oversee and optimize our Website Builder product. You will focus on addressing high-priority customer needs—including NPS initiatives, customer feedback, and revenue retention—to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty among our extensive user base. This role involves collaborating with a lean cross-functional team (including engineering, support, design, and marketing) and driving impactful improvements to enhance user experience and maximize the product’s commercial performance.
Your Impact
- Product Ownership : Serve as the primary custodian of our Creator Website Builder Product, ensuring it maximizes value to millions of active users. Maintain and improve core features, focusing on high-impact enhancements that address critical customer pain points.
- Customer-Centric Improvements : Engage with users and internal support teams to identify top issues affecting NPS and user satisfaction. Prioritize and implement solutions that directly resolve user complaints and reduce support overhead.
- Revenue Retention & Growth : Develop and execute strategies to encourage customers to continue using (and potentially upgrade within) the Creator Website Builder product. Monitor customer churn patterns and collaborate with marketing, sales, and analytics teams to improve retention.
- Backlog & Roadmap Management : Build a lean, focused product backlog driven by data and user insights. Balance ongoing maintenance needs with strategic improvements that yield the highest return on effort.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product updates. Facilitate clear communication of product vision, priorities, and progress.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization : Define and track key product metrics (e.g., NPS, churn rates, feature adoption). Use data-driven insights to iterate on features, processes, and customer communication strategies.
- Strategic Alignment : Ensure product decisions align with Jimdo’s broader business objectives. Advocate for user-centric and revenue-focused enhancements to maintain the product’s competitive edge.
What You Bring
- Experience managing or contributing significantly to a SaaS product, ideally related to website building or digital publishing.
- Proven track record of handling customer issues effectively, driving NPS improvements, and fostering user engagement.
- Comfortable working with mature, well-established products—balancing maintenance with strategic updates.
- Strong understanding of retention strategies, upsell opportunities, and commercial awareness within a subscription-based model.
- Proficiency in Agile or Lean frameworks for backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative product development.
- Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams on priorities, requirements, and outcomes.
- Ability to interpret product metrics and user feedback for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Growth & Development : Access to LinkedIn Learning, Hack Weeks, conferences, and technical eLearning platforms, with opportunities for career progression.
