The FO Change team supports the front office in delivery, reporting, and administration of change, reporting to the COO function. The project supports a key initiative enabling the EMEA regional strategy, focusing on the merger of two existing entities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle ensuring compliance with quality standards, data accuracy, and timely delivery from initiation to closure.
- Utilize reporting tools and conduct regular meetings to monitor project progress.
- Coordinate with peers and risk control owners to ensure quality delivery.
- Use golden source data for updates to oversight and executive committees.
- Sign off on project deliverables and manage steering committees and cross-functional working groups.
- Support the portfolio manager in governance and delivery oversight.
- Identify issues and resolve problems promptly, providing clear recommendations.
- Maintain stakeholder collaboration, ensuring transparency and effective risk and issue management.
- Define and track project outcomes and benefits, managing third-party vendors, and recruiting project staff.
- Monitor sub-portfolios for synergies and avoid duplication.
- Ensure governance of project steering committees and manage project baselines, change approvals, and lessons learned.
Skills
Must have
- At least 5 years of experience delivering front office change projects within financial institutions.
- Deep product and process knowledge of derivatives and trade lifecycle events.
- Experience in investment budget management and project resource planning.
- Expertise in project/program management, governance, and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOX and operational resilience.
- Relevant educational qualifications, preferably with certifications like Prince2, PMI, or Six Sigma.
