In recent years, ALG has extended its value proposition to new data-driven digital solutions to connect business and technology to further ensure the sustainable and efficient growth of the transport sector.

With this, our new digital team was born, with a wide array of services catering to every client’s need : Digital strategy, conceptualization of analytical use cases, Advanced Analytics, cloud services, use cases based on Machine Learning and Business Intelligence solutions. Everything tailored to the transportation sector, working hand in hand with strategic and operational consultants. We develop data experts across all modes of transport and / or specialized in aviation, maritime and land transport.

We are looking for recent graduates in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science and Engineering, etc. who are eager to work in our multidisciplinary Data & Intelligence teams in the transportation sector. We are also looking for a collaborative and resourceful consultant or senior consultant with Data Science / Business Intelligence experience to join ALG.

Functions You will be responsible for :

• Propose data-driven solutions, using machine learning, descriptive statistics or algorithms depending on the analytical case.
• Develop data models and apply mathematical, statistical and programming techniques.
• Develop dashboards / BI solutions and reports.
• Ensure quality of deliverables, cleaning data to discard irrelevant information.
• Participate in client meetings, events and forums and in the overall life of the project, from conceptualization to technical delivery and presentation.
• Support the development of commercial offerings and digitalization and analytics initiatives to support our strategic consulting portfolio.

Professional Profile Desired skills and experience :

• Graduate from a top-tier university program, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval / Marine engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science. A Master's degree in Aeronautics, Computer Science, Big Data & Advanced Analytics is desirable.
• Data Science / Data Engineering / BI consultancy experience is desirable for junior profiles / required for senior profiles.
• Experience programming in one or more languages, including Python, R, Matlab, Scala, C++ or Java, and eagerness to learn more.
• Coursework or proven experience in Machine Learning / Data Science.
• Coursework or proven experience in Business intelligence (PowerBI, Tableau...).
• Proactive, team player, and well-developed communication skills.
• Fluent Spanish and English is required (Oral and written skills).
• Availability to travel.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for data projects + transport sector (aeronautical, maritime, land).
