Offer Description

The hired person will develop software modules and integrate them into dedicated hardware, possibly with GPUs, for a system that interacts with a deaf person via a camera and screen, acting as a virtual interpreter. It will translate short sentences in Spanish Sign Language into written and/or synthesized Spanish, and display the transcribed text from the hearing person on the same screen for reading and interaction.

Requirements

1. Master's level formal training in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Artificial Intelligence (Weight: 30)
2. Professional experience in public research centers related to the position (Weight: 10)
3. Experience in development of multiplatform applications (Weight: 25)
4. Experience in software development publications (Weight: 20)
5. Interview: Candidates scoring at least 50 points from the previous items will be invited for an interview (Weight: 15)
