Formación

This is an exciting opportunity to join Olleco Bunge. As a Country Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Operations for the UK and Europe to ensure all depot and company teams meet their KPIs, comply with safety standards, and support strategic business objectives.

The Country Operations Manager for Spain oversees the performance of all Olleco Bunge sites in Spain. Key responsibilities include ensuring safe and efficient operations aligned with budget goals, expanding market share through organic growth and new products/services, and optimizing efficiencies from acquisitions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • HEALTH & SAFETY: Lead and promote a safety culture, ensuring depot operations and team activities are conducted safely and in compliance with policies.
  • COMPLIANCE: Foster a culture of adherence to company policies across all sites and teams.
  • PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Develop the team structure to enhance engagement, retention, and achieve business goals safely and compliantly.
  • COACHING: Support team development through coaching approaches.
  • STRATEGY: Collaborate on creating and executing strategies that promote growth, margins, and efficiency.
  • GROWTH, REVENUE & MARGINS: Support growth initiatives and client retention efforts.
  • PERFORMANCE: Oversee overall performance of depots and individual locations.
  • REPORTING: Attend meetings and present on business performance, successes, and concerns.
  • KPI’s: Use KPIs to monitor and act on performance trends.
  • BUDGET: Manage budgets for all depots in Spain.
  • INNOVATION: Identify opportunities for operational innovation.
  • PROJECTS: Lead projects beyond current depots and teams.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Seek ways to improve efficiency across Spanish operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • At least 7 years of experience in logistics, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Detail-oriented, resilient, and challenge-driven.
  • Health and Safety qualification preferred.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Proven success in developing depots and businesses in Spain.
  • Effective people management skills to motivate and engage teams.
