Our partner Entec Solar, specialized in monitoring and testing equipment, is looking for an electronic engineer with more than five years of experience. This role is crucial to the growth and success of our company, requiring solid knowledge of electronics, a thorough understanding of all products and services, and the ability to treat customers with an attitude focused on their satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company in the dynamic solar energy sector, working with a committed and passionate team.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate in both hardware and software design and development of new products.
  2. Contribute to the development of enhancements for existing products on both the hardware and software side.
  3. Manage and supervise the technical service of the company’s products, including incident reception, customer service, and equipment repair.
  4. Manage and supervise new equipment assembly, calibration, and testing prior to shipment to the end customer.
  5. Manage material purchases, evaluate different suppliers, and assess material characteristics.
Required Competencies:
Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of electronic circuits, including design and use of design software.
  • Soldering skills, cable assembly, electrical assemblies, etc.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with customers and provide optimal solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to change, with a positive reaction to new situations and perspectives.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to assign actions and efficiently utilize resources.
About You:
  • University degree in electronic engineering, telecommunications, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree in solar energy or a similar specialty.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Option to receive part of the salary through a flexible compensation program (restaurant tickets, transportation, daycare), exempt from income tax withholding.

Additionally, the selected candidate will join the team at our office located at Street Caleruega 102, Madrid, sharing space with Qualifying PhotoVoltaics, S.L., a spin-off of 30 employees with a vibrant work environment and extensive photovoltaics experience.

Entec Solar is a spin-off of the Solar Energy Institute, founded by three PhDs in solar photovoltaics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2016, headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
