About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Data Center Network & OT Engineer to join our Spain-Portugal team, working directly with our Regional Network Manager and Data Center Site Managers, focusing on Data Center Network & connectivity. Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure implementation plans, test plans, and project timelines for network projects are completed to our standards.
2. Lead and supervise a team or supplier installing, maintaining, and decommissioning network and server hardware.
3. Manage interconnection between data centers: report & manage capacity of physical traces between data centers.
4. Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team, while driving a positive customer experience.
5. Coordinate long-haul evaluation and schedule development with cost certainty for last mile.
6. Provide Level 3 attention in case of incident.
7. Establish and maintain the network in Data Center Facilities, collaborating with internal teams and providing IT Network Engineering support.
8. Work with business and internal partners to provide secure site-to-site VPN connectivity.
9. Manage NOC and SOC providers.
10. Engage in strategic planning and forecasting; manage team and performance reviews; address staffing needs.
11. Coordinate support of change management resources with electrical and mechanical operations teams.
12. Implement global & local standardization.
13. Provide technical guidance to the team on project topics.
14. Build and develop relevant business relationships and resolve departmental issues.

Skills & Requirements

Education / Experience: 3 years in Data Center or similar roles, success in delivering complex projects, ownership of mission-critical operations, experience with telecom and network deployments, Project Management experience, Cisco/Meraki/Aruba certifications a plus, capacity planning, and budget experience.

Specific Skills / Abilities: Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills; analytical reasoning; industry standards knowledge; innovative thinking; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; budget management; experience with CMMS and DCIM; fluent in English.
