As a Senior Projects Engineer, you will work within the Packing Department Projects division, joining an established team of Engineers to deliver improvements that integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area. This involves executing project work in compliance with current regulatory and company requirements. The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal Program Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Specify equipment for manufacturing, packaging, or processing in high-volume pharmaceutical or specialty food production.
• Manage integration of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Design expertise in pharma/food metrology, dimensioning, and mathematical specifications.
• Manage control systems for extensive process operations.
• Lead plant capital projects, including project charter presentation, development of technical documentation, and project planning.
• Develop installation plans and scope of work, ensuring quality, operational, and EHS compliance.
• Provide regular project updates to management, including milestones, risks, and accomplishments.
• Manage project communication with stakeholders and contractors.
• Procure vendor services that are cost-effective and meet service level agreements.
• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and schedule management to ensure value for money.
• Implement project reporting structures tracking milestones, deliverables, and financials.
• Ensure full project validation, including development and execution of validation protocols (FAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Manage project-related quality issues and CAPAs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Maintenance Management systems (Maximo preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of automated manufacturing environments, especially packing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Good team player.
