Accountabilities and Deliveries
- Contribute to the design and development of software components within quality standards.
- Define, implement, and contribute to User Experience guidelines collaboratively.
- Resolve issues, defects, and queries promptly during development or production.
- Follow configuration management processes for code deployment.
- Adhere to development processes, protocols, methods, and tools.
- Conduct quality reviews of own and peers' deliverables.
- Provide estimates for technical tasks.
- Report progress regularly and escalate issues as needed.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members.
- Support clients when necessary.
- Stay updated on latest technologies and processes.
- Develop knowledge of the client’s business, products, markets, and regulatory requirements.
Key Relationships
- Work closely with delivery teams, including analysts, Quality Engineers, and other Engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to enhance user experiences.
- Coordinate with engineering team leads to ensure quality standards.
- Engage with other teams and colleagues to meet project goals.
- Participate in discussions with clients on project matters.
- Meet regularly with your engineering lead to review progress and development plans.

Knowledge and Attributes
- Experience through the full project lifecycle.
- Experience in enhancing web application user experiences.
- Knowledge of object-oriented development and agile frameworks.
- Understanding of source control, release management, testing, and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of Financial Services solutions (Mortgages, Insurance, Retirement, Wealth Management).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
