We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant in the UK / European Union.

Role Overview:

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support daily financial operations and statutory compliance across multiple European entities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage month-end closes, coordinate audits, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP, and excellent collaboration skills in a dynamic environment.

Accountabilities :

1. Lead the month-end close process for EMEA entities, including variance analysis and reporting.
2. Ensure compliance with statutory financial reporting and coordinate external audits.
3. Manage daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, expense processing, and banking.
4. Prepare regulatory financial reports and analysis for local authorities.
5. Oversee the implementation and review of internal financial controls.
6. Maintain collaboration with global finance, external vendors, and internal stakeholders.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement projects and financial systems enhancements.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance roles.
• Fully qualified CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA certification required.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience with international statutory audits and compliance processes.
• Prior exposure to fast-paced, tech or SaaS environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
