Management Events - Event Content and Speaker Acquisition Manager

Management Events is seeking an Event Content and Speaker Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic team. You will curate thought-provoking experiences for the Aurora Live Business Network, which brings together IT, Cybersecurity, and Digital leaders from Europe's largest organizations.

Your role involves creating cutting-edge content for physical and virtual events by sourcing the right speakers and case studies relevant to our audience. You will engage with speakers about topics that resonate with our audience, nurture relationships through coaching and preparation, and provide feedback post-event. Success in this role is measured by project management, quality, innovation, and contribution to the business unit’s success.

Key Focus Areas
  1. Speaker Acquisition: Identify and secure commitments from top-tier C-suite executives in IT, Digital, and Cybersecurity for flagship events and virtual content.
  2. Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile speakers, understanding their expertise and aligning them with relevant topics.
  3. Strategic Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill speaker preferences, ensuring seamless event execution.
  4. Event Delivery: Collaborate with event producers to ensure smooth execution and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.
  5. Content Localization: Work with internal teams to develop speaker narratives that resonate with the market, including content localization if needed.
  6. Pre-Event Support: Lead speaker briefings, support their preparation, and ensure alignment with event goals and audience expectations.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience in target-driven commercial roles with direct customer interaction, meeting deadlines, and a proven track record of performance.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, manage multiple projects, and operate efficiently under pressure.
  • Confident, persuasive communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Tech-savvy with an active interest in technology's impact on business.
  • Proactive attitude, accountability, and a willingness to go the extra mile for excellence.
  • Effective collaborator with positive energy, contributing to a vibrant team environment.
