Formación

Job Description : Technical Sales and Product Manager Food Ingredients

We are seeking a Technical Sales and Product Manager Food Ingredients to join our team.

You will be responsible for selling Food Ingredients to the Food Industry and sourcing Food Ingredients from our suppliers.

Location & Area

  • Sales area: Madrid Area, central Spain
  • Position based in Madrid, with up to 6 days of home office per month
  • Main activity: visiting clients
  • Client: an international Ingredients distributor

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients or non-FMCG products
  • Degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry
  • Ability to solve technological problems and a passion for food product development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Highly organized, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Valid driving license

Responsibilities

  • Manage business expansion with existing customers and explore new markets within Spain
  • Have knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals, grains, flours, flakes, etc., is advantageous
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships
  • Identify opportunities within the product portfolio and develop new offerings
  • Conduct market and competition analysis to understand customer needs and identify new opportunities
  • Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and suppliers, managing relationships and procurement
  • Negotiate with suppliers
