Hays is collaborating with a global leader in light and sustainable habitat solutions, designing, producing, and distributing construction materials. They provide innovative solutions in emerging markets, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

We are seeking a Fluid Engineer.

Responsibilities
  1. Design activities during the project design phase (PEM Steps 1 / 2 / 3).
  2. Analyze existing installations with the plant and DTI during cold repairs to define the project scope.
  3. Assess costs associated with different project options.
  4. Lead engineering companies during the design phase, defining schedules and priorities.
  5. Organize design reviews for technical scope.
  6. Validate engineering deliverables, including 3D models.
  7. Prepare tender packages (specifications, BOQ, etc.) during tendering and manufacturing (PEM Step 4).
  8. Compare technical offers with procurement teams.
  9. Monitor supplier progress during manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery.
  10. Organize Factory Acceptance Tests with suppliers.
  11. Manage construction activities, ensuring coordination, safety, and standards are met.
  12. Track construction progress using S-Curves and reports.
  13. Manage design changes and reworks, ensuring proper documentation.
  14. Close open points on equipment, purchase orders, and contracts; support claims; finalize handover to production.
  15. Handle change requests related to the Fluid scope.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Experience in EPCM project execution for fluid and ventilation systems (storage, production, distribution).
  • Experience in fluid and ventilation design.
  • Knowledge of design tools: 3D modeling, P&ID, layout drawings, isometrics.
  • Knowledge of project control tools: Microsoft Project, Primavera, Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with construction activities in EPCM projects.
  • Ability to manage suppliers and coordinate site activities.

Additional Information
  • Project budget typically ranges from €1.5M to €8M.
  • Location: The Fluid Package Manager should be based at the project site, with possible travel to engineering companies or suppliers.
