We are seeking a Platform Engineer (x|f|m) for the Cloud & Developer Platform department at Sartorius Spain S.A. In this role, you will be central to developing our Developer Platform by integrating development team requirements into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and development tools. The position is full-time and offers remote work options, with on-site presence in Madrid.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

1. Design, improve, and maintain our internal developer platform to enhance developer experience and process efficiency.
2. Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipeline templates and 'golden paths' for developers.
3. Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
4. Integrate developer tools such as SonarQube and Snyk into our platform.
5. Develop monitoring and alerting solutions with Grafana Cloud, Azure, and Open Telemetry.
6. Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and facilitate platform adoption.
7. Address issues related to CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and development tools to ensure smooth development workflows.

What will convince us

1. Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. Several years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or software development.
3. Deep knowledge of DevOps practices.
4. Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC in Azure environments.
5. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools, and software development tools like SonarQube or Snyk.
6. Knowledge of Kubernetes and platform orchestration tools is a plus.
7. Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively.
8. Fluency in English.
