About the Role

As Product Counsel , you will embed into high-impact product initiatives for Voicemod’s products and features. You will work closely with cross-functional teams as a dedicated legal resource, providing agile and practical legal counsel to navigate various legal and regulatory frameworks effectively. You will also collaborate with other company areas on corporate and commercial legal matters, acting as the primary contact for external law firms.

You will report to the CFO, and potentially also to the CPO.

What You'll Do

• Advise stakeholders across product development, from inception to launch, on issues related to privacy, data security, marketing, competition, intellectual property, AI, and other legal areas.
• Support business development and partnerships by managing commercial deals, protecting company interests, and preparing term sheets for leadership approval.
• Provide timely legal advice to the Leadership Team and other stakeholders on various topics, including commercial, corporate, internationalization, M&A, and fundraising.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Promote legal compliance and best practices through training and awareness programs.
• Coordinate with external law firms and manage third-party legal relationships.
• Stay informed about legislative changes affecting the company's operations, especially in relevant industries.
• Advise on strategic corporate topics such as international expansion, funding, investor relations, and M&A.

What You'll Need

• At least 5 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, in-house or at a leading firm.
• Experience in digital product companies.
• Knowledge of international commercial and corporate law.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following areas : product law, intellectual property, privacy, AI.
• Strong legal research skills and adaptability to new legal areas in Europe and internationally.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across the company.
• Passion for technology and business, with eagerness to learn.
• Excellent English legal writing skills.
