Project Manager – Financial Global Transition Projects

As part of our strategic expansion, we have established the Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) service, designed to help multinational groups meet their accounting, tax, payroll, and legal obligations efficiently. Through our Center of Excellence (CoE), we centralize and streamline processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for our clients.

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Project Manager – Global Transition Projects to lead the coordination and workflow of international compliance and reporting projects. This role plays a critical part in managing the transition from former client service providers or internal teams to our CoE team, ensuring alignment with global standards and a seamless onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead international transition projects within the Global Compliance & Reporting service.
• Serve as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and key stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on project deliverables.
• Monitor and optimize reporting processes to ensure compliance with international regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with process transitions.
• Implement best practices and methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive initiatives related to IT tools and system optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to align objectives and ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify new service opportunities based on client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Project Management certifications are a plus).
• Proven experience in compliance, financial, or regulatory reporting projects within a global environment.
• Strong project management and coordination skills, especially in international settings.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with change management and KPI tracking.
• Client-facing experience and the ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting or auditing standards and regulations.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Previous experience in coordinating accounting/outsourcing projects.
