For one of our key clients and world leaders in materials technology, Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to assist our client in the realization/construction of a megaproject in Northern Spain. Once the construction phase begins, full on-site presence will be required. This is expected to occur towards the end of this year or early next year.

Please note that you would initially work as an independent consultant (autónomo) through CMC, with the client's intention to make the role permanent upon successful collaboration after or within the 2-year contract.

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be a key leader in drawing and overseeing the electrical design and implementation within a specific area or unit. Their main responsibilities include managing the EPCs through all project phases, assisting where necessary, and reporting progress to the project manager. Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing tailored electrical systems to meet operational process requirements.
• Addressing and resolving electrical issues during project construction, overseeing subcontractors during electrical startup and commissioning.
• Approving electrical designs and RFMA for subcontractors, participating in vendor evaluation and technical communication.
• Collaborating with the Maintenance department to introduce process improvements.
• Ensuring maintenance and updates of pertinent drawings for seamless handover.
• Supporting equipment upgrading projects and proposing improvements.
