Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Service Manager to oversee back-office financial reporting. This role involves managing a geographically dispersed team of Reporting Analysts based in Spain and India, responsible for financial data gathering, report creation, and distribution to clients. The Service Manager ensures timely, accurate reports, manages risks, and drives automation initiatives to enhance efficiency. The project is with a leading global asset management firm. Fluency in English is required. This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Reporting Analysts in Spain and India, ensuring high performance and alignment with reporting goals.
• Oversee the creation and delivery of financial reports, ensuring compliance with standards and deadlines.
• Identify and resolve reporting challenges, escalating issues as needed.
• Optimize team capacity and resource allocation across locations.
• Implement automation solutions to improve reporting processes.
• Act as the primary contact for clients regarding financial reports.
• Maintain documentation of processes and automation efforts.
• Monitor report progress and team KPIs to ensure quality and timeliness.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in financial services or back-office operations, managing teams under tight deadlines.
• Proven remote team management experience across multiple locations.
• Strong communication skills in English (C1 level or higher).

Desired Skills

• Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and automation platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
• Experience with automation technologies like RPA and AI solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, dynamic tables).
