The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tasks related to the publishing, assessment, and enhancement of content quality in the Amazon Prime Video catalogue, utilizing expert knowledge of the Italian language. The role involves making high-judgment decisions following standard operating procedures. Please note this is an office-based role in Madrid.

Key job responsibilities:

1. Apply knowledge of the Italian language to execute small-scale projects or components of larger projects aimed at process improvement, using tools and reporting to achieve quality metrics.
2. Manage escalation on routine or predefined tasks.
3. Create or correct media assets such as subtitles, metadata, or artwork with high quality.

About the team:

The Prime Video Global Operations team, along with sites in Chennai, India, and San Jose, Costa Rica, collaborates with stakeholders across Prime Video to oversee asset deliveries, system processing, content publishing, and quality assurance. Our focus is to ensure defect-free, complete content that provides a high engagement experience across all devices, supporting Prime Video's goal to be the leading global entertainment source.

Basic qualifications:

• Fluency in Italian (C1 level) with understanding of region-specific jargon and colloquialisms.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred qualifications:

• Educational background in foreign languages, translation studies, or linguistics, or 1-2 years of experience in localization or subtitling.
• Ability to deliver results and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to provide insights on creative content.
• Understanding of digital media and digital video supply chains.
• Experience in post-production or content publishing within the media industry.
