A leading company in the production sector is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the implementation of new maintenance standards post-SAP implementation. The role focuses on health and safety, work order management, and inventory oversight, supporting the Maintenance Manager and collaborating with purchasing for spare parts.

Formación

• 2+ years of engineering experience in a production site.

Maintenance Engineer (reporting to the Site Director and with a dotted line to the Maintenance Manager)

Purpose

Ensure processes in the maintenance department are implemented in accordance with the new standards after the implementation of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Health & Safety at all time, by encouraging safe behaviors, safe culture & leadership
• Creation of Work Orders, assignment of planned maintenance and spare parts hours.
• Confirmation of time worked, validation and closure of work orders.
• Request a quote from suppliers for maintenance purchases.
• Make purchase requests for spare parts and general maintenance purchases.
• Reception and review of maintenance orders.
• Inventory management.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in the planification of activities as well as during the shutdown periods.
• Liaise with the Purchasing Manager in all aspects related to spare parts needs and inventory.

Job Specifications :

• Appetite for developing a career within the sector. Ideally within maintenance or production.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a production site
• Experience with SAP with be highly valued
• Safety first mindset
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
