About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MuleSoft Architect to join our growing team. This pivotal role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, a strong understanding of integration architecture best practices, and exceptional customer-facing skills. As a trusted advisor, you will be instrumental in guiding our clients through their digital transformation journeys, designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative integration solutions that drive business value.
You will work closely with clients and internal teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications, providing architectural leadership, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex integration projects. Your ability to communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and provide expert guidance will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and providing expert guidance on how MuleSoft and integration solutions can address their needs.
• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, adhering to integration architecture best practices and standards (e.g., API-led connectivity, microservices, event-driven architecture).
• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and design documentation for integration solutions.
• Define and enforce integration architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across projects and teams.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.
• Oversee the full API lifecycle, from design and development to deployment, management, and governance.
• Conduct technical workshops and design sessions with clients and internal teams.
• Assess existing integration landscapes and recommend optimization strategies for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with the latest MuleSoft features, capabilities, and industry trends in integration and API management.
• Present technical solutions and complex concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our integration practice and knowledge base.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience1 as a MuleSoft Architect or Senior Integration Architect with a strong focus on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with integration architecture best practices, patterns (e.g., publish-subscribe, request-reply, choreography, orchestration), and principles (e.g., loose coupling, reusability).
• Extensive experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Exchange, and other Anypoint Platform components.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Strong experience with data transformation using DataWeave.
• Experience with various connectors and integration patterns within the MuleSoft ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of security best practices related to APIs and integration.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients, building rapport and providing credible, valuable technical and strategic guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely2 to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to effectively engage with customers at various levels, including technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certification(s).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
