Job Purpose

The Pulse Products suite plays an essential part of this by collecting data from renewable assets across the globe and tuning this into useful actionable insights for Asset Managers and Operations & Maintenance staff. Pulse enables customers to create more renewable energy from their assets by enabling 24/7 real-time monitoring, downtime reduction, and automated reporting for our customers' entire portfolio of solar, storage & wind assets.

Accountabilities

1. Support the choice of the right technology, architecture, and infrastructure for each product in consultation with other software developers.
2. Apply software engineering best practices to produce high-quality code.
3. Maintain high operational performance and application availability.
4. Follow and contribute to team working agreements.
5. Contribute to the strategic technical direction of the product.
6. Support continuous improvement of team tools and practices.
7. Assist the support team with quick resolution of issues.

Knowledge

1. Cloud and API native software development.
2. Docker.
3. GitHub.
4. Terraform.
5. C# and .NET.
6. Python.

Skills

1. Understand users' success criteria and design software to achieve their required outcomes.
2. Integrate with and collaborate with an existing international team.

Experience

1. Continuous integration and deployment.
2. Self-documenting, maintainable code.
3. Code peer review (pull requests and/or pair programming).
4. Web APIs.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or relevant experience working as a software developer.
