The Internship :

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to assist our engineering team in supporting the design, construction, and operational phases of solar PV plants and other renewable energy projects.

What You'll Learn :

During this immersive internship, you will :

Electrical Design and Analysis :

Support in conducting electrical design analyses for key components such as energy collection systems (DC and AC), cable sizing, inverters, transformers, and other plant equipment.

Technical Documentation Review :

Assist in reviewing technical documentation, including electrical drawings, system studies by third parties, and grid connection agreements, ensuring compliance with standards across different jurisdictions.

Reporting and Specification Development :

Contribute to the drafting of technical reports, specifications, and employer’s requirements with a high-quality standard.

Assist in liaising with transmission and distribution companies regarding technical electrical aspects of project grid connections.

Performance and Loss Analysis :

Collaborate in conducting performance studies, performance ratio (PR) analysis, generation estimates, and system loss evaluations.

Additional Opportunities :

Although your primary focus will be engineering support, you will also be exposed to wider areas of asset optimisation and project development, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy sector.

Conditions :

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00h to 14 : 00h (25h per week)

Period : 6 months

Starting date : May (day to be confirmed)

Mandatory requirements :

Currently enrolled in the 2024 / 25 academic year of the Electrical Engineering Degree at the University of Seville. (Other degrees will not be considered for this vacancy.)

Only a few pending subjects left to complete your degree.

Fluent English (C1 level and able to keep a professional conversation). Will be assessed during the first phase of the selection process.

Full availability from Monday to Friday, from 9 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM, for the entire 6-month internship period.

Based in Seville.

Available to start in May 2025.
