The company is seeking a Finance Director responsible for managing the finance department, focusing on operations and long-term strategy.

Job Description

The Finance Director will report to both the General Manager of Irudek and the Finance Director for Central Eastern - Southern Europe & Middle East of Bunzl. Main responsibilities include:

• Managing and supervising the accounting and finance team across three legal entities: Spain, Italy, and Brazil.
• Ensuring timely and accurate month-end accounting processes.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc reports with quality and punctuality.
• Enhancing and delivering robust financial controls, including process improvements, procedures, and accountability measures. Developing internal control policies as required by the Group.
• Providing timely, accurate, and comprehensive monthly reports.
• Facilitating the integration of the company into Bunzl standards.
• Developing financial tools to control costs and ensure data accuracy using IT tools.
• Opportunities for growth in areas such as IT, HR, Operations, and Procurement.
• Supporting management in the company's development and growth strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar; MBA preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum of 3 years in Big Four audit, plus 3 years as an Operational Finance Manager in a multinational environment or as a Finance Director in a small/medium company. Experience in internal audit within a multinational is a plus.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Result-oriented and business-focused.
• Strong knowledge and experience in internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of financial software (SAP, Navision, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
