We are committed to expanding our presence across Northern Europe, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through a robust channel network. We are seeking a talented and results-driven Sales Channel Manager to lead this exciting expansion.

Job Purpose

The Sales Channel Manager, Northern Europe will play a pivotal role in spearheading VSN's growth across the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Germany, and other Northern European markets. This role is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing channel partners to build a scalable partnership network that drives incremental revenue streams. The successful candidate will bring a strong sales acumen, a proven track record in partnership development, and a detail-oriented approach to forecasting and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Development : Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic channel partners (resellers, distributors, and technology partners) across the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Germany, and other Northern European territories to expand VSN's market presence.
  • Partnership Management : Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with VSN's business objectives and delivering mutual value to partners and the company.
  • Revenue Growth : Drive incremental revenue streams by collaborating with partners to develop and execute joint sales strategies, campaigns, and go-to-market plans.
  • Forecasting & Reporting : Develop accurate sales forecasts, track partner performance metrics, and provide detailed reports to senior leadership, demonstrating a strong understanding of numbers and data-driven decision-making.
  • Sales Enablement : Equip channel partners with the tools, training, and resources needed to effectively sell VSN's video streaming solutions.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs within Northern Europe, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, acting as the primary point of contact for all channel-related matters.
  • Performance Tracking : Monitor and evaluate partner performance against agreed KPIs, ensuring targets are met and addressing underperformance with actionable solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align channel strategies with broader company goals.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Language Proficiency : Fluency in English is mandatory (preferably native speaker), with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Northern European languages (e.g., German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) are a strong advantage.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in a sales or channel management role, with demonstrable success in building and managing partnership networks, ideally within the technology, SaaS, or media / streaming sectors.
  • Partnership Expertise : Proven track record in negotiating and managing partnership agreements, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Sales Acumen : Strong sales background with a history of achieving and exceeding revenue targets, supported by tangible, demonstrable results.
  • Analytical Mindset : Detail-oriented with a deep understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics; comfortable working with numbers and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Relationship Management : Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities across different markets and cultures.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). An MBA or similar advanced qualification is a plus.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel frequently across Northern Europe as required to meet partners and attend industry events.
