Position : Head of Finance

The Head of Finance will report directly to the Group CFO of Powens and manage a team of two accountants and controllers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership and Development
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth.
• Set goals, provide feedback, and promote continuous learning.
• Ensure career development opportunities for team members.
• Accounting
• Oversee all accounting functions, including receivables, payables, general ledger, and payroll.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard assets.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits.
• Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Prepare and distribute financial reports.
• Develop budgets and forecasts to support strategic initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Corporate Finance
• Manage financial operations to meet regulatory requirements.
• Cash Flow Management
• Monitor liquidity and working capital.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash management and evaluate financing options.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Maintain internal controls and monitor market and regulatory developments.

Profile and Skills Required :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in finance leadership, preferably in SaaS or Financial Services.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Deep understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Proven track record in driving financial performance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to operate in an international environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; French is a plus.
