Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? The Law School is looking for a Associate Director, Law School – Undergraduate Programs to join its team!

The Associate Director of Undergraduate studies in Law is responsible for the day-to-day management of six undergraduate degrees in both our Madrid and Segovia campuses. The position involves managing multiple key projects and coordinating tasks among team members, departments, and partners in a timely manner; overseeing the implementation of guidelines and policies; solving student issues and offering support; organizing events and extracurricular activities; and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive and world-class experience for students and Faculty.

Responsibilities

Your role as Senior Manager will involve :

Interaction with Students and Professors

  • Develop new procedures, academic guides and other materials to achieve a more efficient working dynamic.
  • Identify, implement and improve activities / policies that impact the student experience.
  • Manage and oversee students’ completion of their exchange program, internships, and other academic activities.
  • Organize and lead law-related events and extracurricular initiatives.
  • Work with Professors and Advisors to communicate specific student or group situations, and request feedback.
  • Hold Professor meetings and other related Faculty activities and events.
  • Monitor students, their academic performance, and any other issues that may affect their academic life.
  • Meet with students to solve issues, offer advice, and / or give support with empathy and sensitivity on a daily basis.

Interaction with other departments

  • Coordinate and supervise key administrative processes throughout the year with the relevant departments (Planning, International Mobility, Student Services, Student Life, Registrar’s Office), team members, and partners (Northwestern, Kings College London).
  • Collaborate with Admissions and Global Markets Departments to participate in key commercial initiatives and give student presentations.
  • Coordinate with other Schools to ensure academic homogeneity.

Internal management

  • Take responsibility for specific program projects. This may include components of the program design, communications, revamp projects, etc.
  • Assist the Executive Director in the coordination and implementation of new curricular and extracurricular law-related innovations.
  • Provide high-quality data and information to the Executive Director and track student performance and achievements.
  • Supervise, coordinate and coach program assistants and program managers with professionalism and professional maturity.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • Academic background in Law.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Excellent command of English and an Advanced level of Spanish.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience with strong Project management capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit.
  • The candidate will demonstrate solid customer management skills, ability to work under pressure, a high level of accountability and initiative.
