Rakuten TV is a leading streaming platform, available in 42 countries of Europe, which offers premium Hollywood and local content across various types of access : Transactional Video-on-demand (ie buy or rent movies), AVOD (advertising-based on-demand content) or FAST (linear free TV channels with ads). It is available across multiple devices, such as CTV, mobile, web, and Telcos set top boxes.

About us

• Backend stack is based on : Rails, 100% cloud, containers, k8s, SQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, Varnish, and several popular background jobs solutions.
• We are obsessed with quality : we have automated code review for test coverage, maintainability and more. With a coverage of more than 95% (rspec), and do extensive code review. Also, we have a dedicated QA team that implements functional testing.
• We follow continuous integration and deploy to production several times every day.
• We are divided in small teams that follow SCRUM with one product manager and one QA engineer
• We use application monitoring solutions for profiling our apps. Error tracking solutions to gather all the production errors. And metrics collection to monitor our systems

What we expect from you

• Experience with Salesforce Development Tools (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows) and VisualStudioCode.
• Maintain the Salesforce environment for Release Updates from Salesforce.
• Maintain the platform, ensuring scheduled jobs, reports, and automatic processes run smoothly.
• Knowledge and experience with Salesforce database languages SOQL and SOSL.
• Maintain and improve our current Salesforce integration.
• Knowledge and experience implementing and using REST APIs.
• Write clean, well-documented code, following best practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, internally and externally.
• A team player who works well in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby and / or Ruby on Rails.
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases, database design, SQL, and ActiveRecord.
• Ability to participate in technical design discussions.
• Knowledge and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge and experience with message queuing services.
• Experience with real production environments that require 99.99% uptime.
