Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, focusing on maintaining and optimizing our global warehouse and delivery technologies, including our electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. We are looking for an Electric Vehicle Charger Escalation Team member responsible for resolving field issues, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring support specialists. This role involves managing a 24/7 shift operation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of EV Charger Escalation Specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
2. Oversee remote reactive maintenance activities, ensuring rapid response and resolution of charging station issues worldwide.
3. Develop maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
4. Utilize data analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement, developing strategies accordingly.
5. Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues, working with field teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
6. Maintain quality control standards for maintenance procedures and training.
7. Monitor trouble ticket processes, ensuring high-quality customer care.
8. Manage maintenance budgets, optimizing costs while maintaining service quality.
9. Collaborate with procurement and vendors for spare parts sourcing and contract negotiations.
10. Design KPIs and generate reports on maintenance performance and network reliability.
11. Lead training and development programs for team enhancement.
12. Work flexible shifts to support global customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, completed Electrical Apprenticeship, or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of EV charging systems and infrastructure.
• Experience in industrial safety and vendor management.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and support tickets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle charging systems and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
