Job Description :

YOUR TASKS :

• Perform FEM calculations of various structures to support the design of mechanical components and tooling for multi-megawatt platforms.
• Conduct simulations and calculations for the development, design, and verification of steel constructions and mechanical components of wind turbines.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, specialists, component manufacturers, and certification bodies.
• Develop new concepts in compliance with standards and regulations, interpret these regulations, and transfer technology to development departments.
• Design structural components considering all lifecycle phases and support root cause analysis of field issues.
• Develop and document calculation methods for continuous team improvement.

YOUR PROFILE :

• Mandatory training in finite element method calculations.
• Strong knowledge of analytics, statics, dynamics, and physical principles.
• Experience in designing steel and mechanical components for wind turbines, adhering to EUROCODE standards.
• Knowledge of fatigue analysis and structural dynamics.
• Proficiency in programming and analysis tools such as MathCad, Matlab, and Python.
• Flexibility, dynamism, teamwork skills, and good communication.
• Optional programming skills are a plus.
• Language skills: English required; German and Spanish are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the wind turbine sector.
• Willingness to travel.
