About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive and thoughtful French-speaking Online Safety Coordinator to join our team in Barcelona. Your role will involve supporting the development and enforcement of safety policies to protect users from harmful content and behavior. You will collaborate closely with moderation, legal, and product teams to respond to safety incidents and maintain a trustworthy online environment for our French-speaking community.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Monitor and assess user-generated content and behavior in French, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and safety standards.
2. Coordinate safety escalations, abuse reports, and policy violations with relevant internal teams.
3. Identify trends in online risks such as harassment, misinformation, or exploitative content, and contribute to mitigation strategies.
4. Maintain detailed documentation of incidents and resolution steps for audit purposes.
5. Collaborate with policy and enforcement teams to refine safety guidelines and enforcement processes.
6. Participate in cross-functional meetings and represent the needs of French-speaking users in safety discussions.
7. Assist in creating educational materials and campaigns to promote a positive community culture.

Requirements :

1. Fluent in French (native or near-native) and proficient in English (written and spoken).
2. Experience in trust & safety, content moderation, compliance, or online operations.
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
4. Ability to assess complex situations and make objective decisions.
5. Comfort handling sensitive or disturbing content professionally and discreetly.
6. Legal authorization to work in Spain.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Knowledge of online safety best practices, user protection, and digital platform policies.
2. Understanding of EU digital content regulations (e.g., DSA, GDPR).
3. Experience working in multicultural environments.
4. Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, German) are a plus.
