• Develop a new React application that integrates real-time data, appealing design, and an exceptional trading user experience.

The Job

Our client is seeking an outstanding Frontend Developer with strong React skills and a keen eye for design to enhance our trader workstation. You will work on features that process millions of real-time market data points and display them in visually intuitive, actionable formats for traders.

This is a part-time (20h/week), long-term contract position.

You will be responsible for :

• Architecting and implementing new features for our real-time trading platform
• Designing and building responsive, high-performance user interfaces that handle live market data
• Developing interactive technical charts and data visualizations
• Optimizing application performance for real-time data processing
• Collaborating with product and backend teams to ensure seamless trading experiences
• Developing and maintaining internal tools and admin systems

The Profile

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of state management (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Experience building complex, data-intensive applications
• Backend development experience with Node.js
• Expertise in performance optimization and memory management
• Excellent UI/UX sensibilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency with CSS/SCSS and responsive design
• Strong testing practices and debugging skills

Nice to Have

• Background in real-time data visualization
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Python
• Understanding of financial markets
