Exploring the role

RateGain is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Partner to expand our presence within the European hotel chain segment. You will drive sales, build strong relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to hotel chains across Europe. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure clients effectively leverage RateGain's solutions to achieve their commercial objectives. This role is ideal for a self-starter who excels in strategy execution and client engagement, operating in a hands-on leadership capacity without direct reports.

How your day will look like / Job responsibility

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored for European hotel chains.
  • Drive the adoption of RateGain’s solutions within the target market.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hotel chain segment.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Position RateGain as the preferred technology partner by providing expert advice.
  • Act as a point of escalation and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape and industry trends.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of RateGain’s offerings and competitor solutions.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams regarding market demands.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Customer Success, Product Management) to relay market feedback.
  • Support product development and ensure seamless client onboarding.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Hospitality Technology sales, targeting European hotel chains.
  • Demonstrated experience in Distribution, Revenue Management, Digital Marketing, or related segments

Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the European hotel chain landscape and hospitality technology.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Understanding of Revenue Management principles.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of hotel distribution systems, OTA integrations, rate intelligence, and digital marketing.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs.
  • Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies.
  • Experience in B2B sales, new client acquisition, lead generation, outbound sales, email campaigning is preferred.
  • Problem-solving ability is the capacity to tackle complex or challenging situations.
  • Effective in working independently and collaboratively in teams.
  • Actively seeking out opportunities to learn, grow, and adapt to changing environments and technologies.
