For REWE Digital Spain, located at Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia (PTA) in Malaga we are looking for an Engineering Manager, who will develop the skills and competencies of the employees who work for us as Software Engineers. As we will have full product ownership in Spain, the Engineering Manager will hold together with the hub coach and the product owner the responsibility for the product delivery in high quality.

What you will do:

• You feel responsible for matching business requirements with software engineering talent, ensuring that we have the right people with the right skills on the right product team at the right time.
• You ensure the future-oriented individual development of your employees' professional, methodological and personal skills and incorporate your own impulses and trends from software engineering.
• Together with our HR experts and the product teams, you will find the right talent for us.
• You support an open feedback culture and create the foundation and spaces to promote sustainable knowledge transfer within the teams and beyond product boundaries.
• As part of strategic HR portfolio management, you will work in the cross-domain community of managers on organizational development initiatives.

What you will bring:

• We focus on you as a person: you stand for empathy, team spirit and openness.
• You have strong experience in employee management and in the skills and competence development of software engineers.
• You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics, computer science or equivalent.
• You have many years of experience in professional software engineering.
• Your knowledge of trends and methods for agile software development and your enthusiasm for servant leadership.
• Ideally, you already have management and leadership experience.
• You are interested in the further development and co-design of an innovative technology organization and the further expansion of the location in Malaga.
• Fluency in English rounds off your profile.
