The Lead Net Zero Cloud Solutions Engineer drives the strategic development of sustainability solutions, aligning them with organisational goals and industry trends. This involves leading product development, cultivating client relationships, and identifying market opportunities. With a focus on innovation and compliance, the Director fosters cross-functional collaboration to expand the company's presence in sustainability while continuously enhancing solutions for maximum impact.

Responsibilities :
  • Ensure that the Project Schedule incorporates dates and times for decisions.
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for sustainability solutions, aligning with company goals and market demands.
  • Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of sustainability solutions, ensuring they meet client needs and industry standards.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in sustainability offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their sustainability challenges and objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients to co-create tailored sustainability solutions that address their specific needs and drive business value.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends in the sustainability sector to expand the company's portfolio and market presence.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth through effective solution positioning and client engagement strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in sustainability and the related use of software systems, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Business Development / Leadership / Strategy
  • Actively lead and contribute to business development opportunities.
  • Support team members in their professional development and growth, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums to showcase expertise and promote the company's solutions.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of solution architects, consultants, and project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of innovative sustainability solutions.
Client Support
  • Respond to client support questions and requests via phone or email where necessary, involving others, as appropriate.
  • Provide technical guidance.
  • Comply with relevant corporate and industry legislation and incorporate into practices and processes as relevant.
  • Report all identified risks, breaches, or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Comply with relevant WH&S legislation, adhering to work procedures and practices to maintain health and safety of the team. Report all workplace hazards and incidents.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience :
  • Detailed knowledge of Salesforce Net Zero Cloud as a solutionist.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at the standard of a senior manager.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely organised and detail-oriented.
  • Manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to grasp and apply new concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, computer systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability solutions, with a focus on strategy, innovation, and client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Track record of driving business development and sales in the sustainability sector, with experience working with enterprise clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
