As we continue to refine our product suite, we are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to develop high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS, leveraging Bluetooth for IoT integrations.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain stable, performant Android and iOS applications with a focus on healthcare use cases.
2. Adhere to established industry standards for secure, reliable, and user-friendly mobile solutions.
3. IoT & Bluetooth Integration:
4. Integrate various Bluetooth-enabled healthcare devices, ensuring accurate data capture and real-time communication.
5. Troubleshoot and optimize connectivity issues, making sure all medical data transfers remain consistent and secure.
6. Work closely with Backend and DevOps teams to synchronize app features with server-side APIs and infrastructure.
7. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
8. Coordinate with QA for rigorous testing, guaranteeing all functionalities meet compliance and performance benchmarks.
9. Security & Compliance:
10. Implement security and privacy controls, particularly for personal health information (GDPR, HIPAA).
11. Enforce best practices for safeguarding sensitive data during Bluetooth transmission and mobile storage.
12. Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance reliability and user satisfaction.
13. Share expertise with junior developers, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
2. Solid knowledge of Bluetooth (Classic and BLE) protocols and implementation patterns.
3. Experience interfacing with IoT devices for data collection, command/control, or real-time communication.
4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM).
5. Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance) is a plus.
6. Understanding of data security and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA).

Soft Skills:

1. Clear communication skills, capable of translating technical details into straightforward language.
2. Ability to work independently and in team environments.
3. Willingness to mentor less-experienced developers and promote a culture of accountability and excellence.
