Ecolab healthcare division is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist as we strive to be the global expert in delivering cleaner, safer, and healthier environments for our hospital customers. The Senior Marketing Specialist is a leading role in the Healthcare Marketing Team and the role requires an individual who can function at both a strategic and tactical level.

Job Characteristics :

This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring significant collaboration with other functions. This person will be responsible for the execution of the Healthcare Europe marketing strategy. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration and leadership abilities, passion for customers, high energy, and commitment to help solve big problems. The position will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support sales growth, retention and profitability of healthcare division in the designated market through execution of strategic planning and marketing programs.
  • Develop in-depth customer and market knowledge, keeping up to date with customer trends through regular VOC, field visits and relevant industry associations. Communicate market needs and opportunities to the wider local & EU team to support innovation pipelines.
  • Drive a total solution for the responsible segments, aimed at IP stakeholders within the Healthcare environment.
  • Contribute to the development of short and long-term strategy and execution plan for digital marketing.
  • Leverage customer relationships to develop in-depth market knowledge.
  • Manage the KOL network for specific segments.
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns and customer events to promote brand awareness.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans for product launches.
  • Manage Phase in – Phase out process : Sales Enablement and Product Training, Competitive Intelligence, sustainability integration in product / segment TVD.
  • Collaborate with critical functions, including Sales, Finance, R&D, Scientific Marketing.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing Manager and European Marketing Team to share best practices.
  • Travel 25% based on need, customer face-to-face interaction, and team support.

Basic Qualifications

  • Some years of professional marketing experience in healthcare sector.
  • Experience working in Healthcare environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Spanish speaker.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred work location is Barcelona area (Spain).
  • Proven ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and navigate matrix organizations to achieve business results.
  • Ability to exhibit team leadership; motivate and inspire teams to achieve their highest potential and communicate a sense of vision and mission.
  • Ability to create an environment that encourages breakthrough thinking, can move new ideas forward.
  • Well-developed and proven leadership, strategic thinking, & business acumen.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating customer-facing presentations, with visibility to top executives.
  • Sales experience, either for Ecolab or elsewhere.
  • CRM experience and aptitude a strong plus.
